As a geology student at Penn State University, Skip Colflesh began field collecting in 1970 and continued through early 2020. His collection is meticulously documented and spans several international localities, yet has a strong focus on classic east coast localities, predominantly within Pennsylvania.
Between self-collected and purchased specimens, we will be de-accessing part of his world-wide collection and an equally large amount of self-collected pieces. Please fell free to contact us for specific specimen requests. With this much volume, I'm certain we have what you require.
We hope you enjoy the Gallery photos of Skip's personal collection as well as the items for sale in the Minerals section.
